Crock Pot Lasagna

1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, smashed
24 oz cottage cheese
5 oz grated parmesan cheese
2 - 8 oz pkgs shredded mozzarella
16 oz lasagna noodles, uncooked
AND EITHER...
29 oz tomato sauce
6 oz tomato paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dried oregano
OR...
3/4 - 24 oz jar of Prego Traditional sauce
3/4 - 24 oz jar of Prego Chunky Garden sauce


Brown ground beef, onion and garlic.  Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, and oregano (or the Prego sauce).  Spoon a layer of meat/sauce onto bottom of crock pot.  Add a double layer of uncooked lasagna noodles (break to fit) and top with layer of cheeses.  Repeat with sauce, noodles, and cheeses until all are used.  Add 1/2 cup water around edge of lasagna.  Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
