6 medium mushrooms, sliced
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/8 bunch green onions
1 lb chicken, cubed
2 pkg crescent rolls
Gravy:
1/2 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c milk
Saute mushrooms, chicken, and onions in olive oil. When chicken is cooked, remove from heat and add cream cheese. Stir until mixed. Unroll the dough and flatten the centers slightly (leave edges alone). Fill the dough with cream cheese mixture and roll up, sealing the edges (aren't you glad you left the edges alone so now you still have something to pinch as you seal 'em up?). Brush with butter and sprinkle with crumbled saltines or breadcrumbs.... or roll them in butter and then roll them completely in crushed saltines or Ritz crackers.
Bake the roll-ups at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Serve with gravy.
